Amy and I have been scouring the news sites this morning to try and understand the results of the debate and, perhaps more importantly, see what the spin doctors are saying. We're heartened that it appears that Kerry have had the upper hand, but it's always hard to sift through it and see if that's true. Naturally, staying up to 2am on a work night was just not something I was going to be able to do.
Safe to say, Amy and I are both on the Democrat side of the political spectrum -- and it's been interesting to see America reported on from abroad. Honestly, the coverage isn't all that flattering -- but it does a good job of delineating the Administration from Americans.
Personally, I'm affronted every time George Bush says that he's a decisive leader. He could also be a decisive leader of lemmings -- but just because he's choosing to jump off the cliff doesn't make his decisiveness a value.
Anyway, enough politicking from me. The real point of this was that it's been hard for Amy and I to stay adequately informed on the political process in the US and we're just sitting here hoping that things are going vastly awry in the US.
